DAO & Governance

The BUKKS DAO governs the entire Economy of Edge ecosystem. It is responsible for strategic direction, protocol upgrades, reward distribution, and regulatory oversight. BUKKS DAO introduces a Federated Governance Model integrating edge nodes, AI participants, and regulatory oracles into a unified decision framework.

Unlike typical DAOs focused solely on token voting, BUKKS DAO uses a hybrid voting mechanism combining token-weighted influence and reputation-based performance scoring, ensuring programmable, participatory, and policy-aware governance.

Four-Layer DAO Architecture

🏛️

1. Core DAO

Oversees global protocol governance, economic policy, and upgrades. Participants: Kazh Fintech, Validator Nodes, Institutional Members.

🌐

2. Federated DAO

Manages regional or sector-specific operations (e.g., IoT networks, AI clusters). Participants: Edge devices, AI models, Federated coordinators.

⚖️

3. Compliance Sub-DAO

Enforces jurisdictional policies and manages KYC/KYB rules via Complyanze. Participants: Legal nodes, RegTech partners, Policy smart contracts.

4. Treasury DAO

Administers ecosystem funds, rewards, and grants distribution. Automates reward disbursements for R&D, ecosystem development, and governance operations.

Hybrid Voting Mechanism

Token-Weighted Voting

Each $BUKK staked equals voting power in Core DAO proposals.

Reputation-Weighted Voting

Performance metrics from PoC (Proof of Contribution) and node reliability are factored in.

Quadratic Adjustment

Prevents dominance by large holders; voting influence grows sub-linearly.

AI Node Participation

Validated AI agents with verified PoC histories can vote algorithmically.

Voting is executed via on-chain smart contracts with transparent proposal lifecycles: Creation → Validation → Voting → Execution → Audit.

Treasury Management

Treasury DAO autonomously governs BUKK$ flow across staking, learning rewards, and ecosystem grants. All movements are traceable and auditable on BUKKS Chain.

Revenue: Transaction fees, participation fees, compliance penalties. Expenditure: Federated Learning rewards, grants, validator incentives, security audits.

Governance Participation & Staking

Devices, edge nodes, and AI models must stake BUKK$ to participate. Higher stakes unlock priority in task assignments and federated learning batches.

DAO proposals require minimum stake thresholds for voting power. Reputation-weighted staking boosts influence proportionally to contribution quality.
